500mL Powder Addition Funnel, 29/42 Joint Size, Auger B. Facilitates the delivery of free-flowing, granular solids into reactions. Pressure equalizing arm is equipped with a vented stopper for air-free operations and also permits access into the delivery stem for easy clean-out. One piece, easily removed grooved PTFE auger delivers powders at a uniform rate. The 250 and 500mL capacities have the larger, deep cut auger (Size B) for use with coarse material. Funnel has a lower inner joint and top outer, both being the size listed.

Positioning of the valves permits the funnel contents to be kept under inert conditions prior to use or during loading. A 14/20 outer joint is sealed on the funnel body above the coolant chamber for syringe sampling of the funnel contents. Funnel has a drain tube on the rear of the coolant chamber. Available with a choice of a 2mm high vacuum glass stopcock having a Stainless Steel constant pressure retaining device or a 0-4mm Chem-Cap Airfree inlet valve. This item comes with the stopcock.
